Parus is a genus of Old World birds in the tit family. As defined here, it contains the following species:
This genus and related genera are controversial. The species, from White-shouldered Tit to Southern Grey Tit, are sometimes separated as the genus Melaniparus, and the Yellow Tit and the Black-lored Tit are sometimes separated as Macholophus. On the other hand, many authorities expand this genus to include Cyanistes, Lophophanes, Periparus, and Poecile.

Paruszewice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Boniewo, within Włocławek County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately south of Włocławek and south of Toruń.
The village has a population of 40.
The Parus Business Centre () is a 34-story class-A[1] office building in Kiev (Kyiv), the capital of Ukraine. It is located at the very centre of the city, between Mechnikova St. and Lesi Ukrainky Blvd. (municipal address: 2, Mechnikova St.)[2] and is currently the highest building in the country.[3]
Construction of the building began in 2004, and ended in February 2007.[4] Apart from its main office use (ca. 50,400 sqm or 542,500 sqf), the property features some 2,400 sqm (25,800 sqf) of retail space and around 2,700 sqm (29,000 sqf) of cafes and restaurants.[5] There is also a 4-story underground parking garage with a capacity for 300 cars.[4]
While still on the construction stage, the project was also known as "Elsburg Plaza" (),[6] but was later renamed to "Parus" (literally translated as "sail") ostensibly because of building's oval-like shape, resembling sail of a ship.
In July 2008, Kontrakty, Ukrainian business weekly,[7] rated top 10 most expensive offices in Kyiv. [8] Parus was top of the chart in terms of annual rental income, which stood at some $50 million.[8]
Major tenants at Parus include Concorde Capital,[9] an investment bank; TNK-BP,[10] an oil company; Olimp,[11] Ukrainian spirits company; Delin Development,[12] a real estate development company; Interpipe,[8] steel pipes producer and others. Colliers International, a commercial real estate services company, was an exclusive leasing agent for Parus.[13]
Parus was developed and is owned by "Mandaryn Plaza Ltd." (), a joint-stock company, prominent for its homonymous high-end shopping center in the center of Kiev. In September 2007, Dmitry Firtash, a Ukrainian businessman, bought a 50% stake in Mandaryn Plaza Ltd. through his company Heritage Properties International AB.[14]
